Our little country church, surrounded by growing corn fields and dusty roads, had never been so full. People came from all corners of the country to bid their friend farewell.  Preachers, church members, family, and old friends came to honor this Soldier of the Lord.

I cannot describe to you how the Lord blessed Dad’s funeral. From the first congregational song, to the end when Dad’s voice rang out “Someday when my last line is written…,” it was a celebration. The Lord not only gave such wonderful grace, comfort, and hope to all that were there, but HE was there Himself. And HE, along with so many of his children, honored Danny Hall. What a blessing. My family and I were so humbled by this demonstration of love.

Thank you, Friends, for being there, for sharing our sorrows with us, for rejoicing in Dad’s memory, his present home, and our heavenly future.

    Carrie,
Just got to see Bro. Danny’s funeral…I really appreciate you posting it. Thankful for your folks testimony and all the wonderful things that were said by so many. I’m glad that there is a brighter tomorrow and one day soon we will be with our loved ones to spend eternity. I lost my father when I was 15 y.o.a. he was a KJV Bible preacher, I am comforted with the fact that he is in a far better place and I shall see him again. You are in our prayers.

Gary and I were truly honored to be there. I had not seen bro. Danny in many years, but at a recent revival at Holy Hills he and your mama sang. He hardly had the strength, but he remained so faithful. I was happy I had at least got to see him and talk with him before Jesus took him home. When Gary and I left his homecoming service and rode home, we both agreed as we drove along that we had never felt the Lord so real and as strong as we had felt in that service. God met with us and honored him home with us; just as you said Carrie. My mom and dad absolutely thought the world of your mama and daddy. (Norm and Allene Skulina) I wanted to be able to share this with others and your mama recently shared with me how you had dedicated this site. I am so glad that you did! God bless you and your family! We love you!
